Charmingfare Farm offers three rides for you and your family to enjoy during your visit. Our rides are available a different time throughout the day, so be sure to check the schedule of the day when you arrive.

Also, you may want to keep in mind weather including heat can effect the operation of our rides.

Step aboard and begin your 25- minute journey back in time. Our horse-drawn ride travels along old logging roads past live stock pastures. The long horns and the shaggy coats of the Scottish Highland cattle are a favorite among our passengers.


During Pumpkin Festival the Horse-Drawn Ride becomes the “Pumpkin Express” This special ride takes you right down to our backfield pumpkin patch. You and your family can experience the thrill of picking your own pumpkin from our field. This ride will board at the main gate.

Children absolutely love to ride our ponies. This year we have made their ride more of an adventure by adding a trail past our wolves. (Maximum weight 75 pounds)

This is a new ride provided by the good folks at James R. Rosencrantz & Sons.
This ride will take you through the agricultural part of the farm. During your ride you will travel to the corn and pumpkin fields to check out how things are growing for the up coming Pumpkin Festival.

Ride tickets may be purchased at the admission booth or at the gift shop located near the Oakhurst Dairy Discovery Barn.

The best value is to purchase 10 or more tickets at one time. Especially if you are planning on visiting the farm often.
