Stipend opportunities are incredibly flexible. We will work with you to create the perfect schedule. Our goal is to create a learning experience that will meet your specific needs and interests, as well as being beneficial to the animals. At the beginning of your program, you will meet with our staff to outline goals and expectations. For each job we will have a list of specific things that need to be accomplished. Within that framework, there is usually a great deal of flexibility to accommodate individual interests as well. If you are accepted into the program, a small stipend will be offered. We look forward to working with you.
The ideal candidate will; be a team player, at least 18 years of age, have good communication skills, be interested in learning, love working with animals, work well with the public, enjoy being outdoors, not mind physical activity, be willing to make a commitment to the animals.

The opportunity to work closely with a particular species
- Opportunities to assist in the training of the animals
- Time to develop a close relationship with the animals
- A "learn by doing" hands on education with animals you might not otherwise ever get to work with.
- A set schedule: Once your particular program has been developed, you will be working the same days and times every week. (We can of course be flexible if emergencies arise) This consistency makes it easy for you to plan your time. It is also much easier for the animals if they know what to expect.

- Increased socialization opportunities
- More personalized attention
- Unique enrichment opportunities
None of our programs require any special skills or education. All you will need is desire and a willingness to learn.
