Charmingfare Farm

We had a beautiful weekend for 4th of July and lot of people came out to the farm for trail rides and also to visit the zoo. We only had one rain shower on Sat late in the day other wise both days were perfect weather.

This Weekend the sun finally showed itself. Sat was a beautiful day and we had a full day of trails. Everyone seemed happy that the rain had let up for one day. We spotted some baby ducks out on the trail enjoying themselves in our stream that runs through the trails. At least they seemed [...]

This passed weekend was another weekend of clouds and rain. Saturday the rain held off for most of the day but it was still gloomy. The trail guides were sad that no one braved the gloomy weather to come out for a trail ride. So they decided to go out themselves.

Sun brought rain and more rain. Not a good day to go out on the trails unless maybe you were in a boat. All the rain though will be making all the fields and plants around Charmingfare Farm nice a green.

Saturday was perfect weather for trail riding. The horses agreed, as they were eager to come in Sat morning to go to work.

Meet Ruphis our Mule. Yes that’s right he’s a mule. Ruphis came to us last weekend. The trail guides were skeptical at first to this long eared creature. But he is proving himself to be a wonderful mount.
